Snape and lanterns

first attempt at a more ''pictorial'' effect with photoshop.
Those unfortunate beings who get to be around me on a daily basis are all well aware I'm currently going through a most critical ''Harry Potter Nostalgia '' phase.Hence the subject.
I don't quite remember WHERE, but I'm pretty sure somewhere in the books there was this particular scene of Snape coming to ''greet'' the students in Hagrid's stead ,with a trail of floating lanterns following him along.
And I remember thinking that it was actually an unusual scene,If you get to picture it in your mind.
You usually associate Snape with dark,blue-greenish hues,and yet there he was,described as bringing warm,enchanted lights that melted the shadows away.
I think that's mostly because of this sharp contrast that I remembered the scene up til' now.
